Paper Plate Education Activities: Addition & Multiplication TablewareDesign a plate for practicing addition and multiplication tables.
Have students either add or multiply the numbers from the center outward and write the answers around the perimeter. As a variation, omit the central multiplier. Place a clear plastic plate over a paper plate that has ten spokes with the numbers one to ten in the wedges. With a grease pencil, write the variable number in the center. Students then write the appropriate added/multiplied values around the perimeter. Make an answer key from another clear plastic plate that has the central value and correct numbers around the perimeter.
